CAD or Computer Aided Design is a title that covers a wide range of activities. In our case, the proprietor trained as a draftsman and then translated this into 2D CAD drafting. We recognise that drawings need to be clear, informative and easy to understand. We are used to working with a range of businesses, both for technical and presentational purposes. Although perhaps seen as a ‘back room’ service, CAD can be used to present ideas to clients and colleagues.
If you’re new to CAD, you might ask what relevance it has to you. Perhaps none, but
if you have an office, house or garden that needs an accurate drawing made of it,
then we can provide this service. We are not chartered surveyors, as this is a highly
skilled profession in its own right, but we do carry out site measurements. In general,
we help both businesses and homeowners to plan furniture layouts, building works

What about 3D? At present we cannot justify the cost of the 3D AutoCAD, although
the proprietor has trained in its use. Recently we have started using Google’s “SketchUp”
programme which offers basic 3D modelling, with the added facility to accurately
locate a building in Google Earth mapping. We have a client who is investigating
